The Goal Toolkit
After reading this article, you will have your very own Goal Kit that will give you motivation to reach your goals every single day.

To make your kit, begin with four sheets of notebook paper and a black marker. Next, choose a goal that is a high priority for you. This kit works best with only one goal at a time. If you try focusing on several goals at once, you will have a very difficult time accomplishing any of them.

Once you have your goal, narrow it down to one sentence. For example, if you would like to get in shape by running every morning, write 'Run every morning at 6:00 a.m. for 30 minutes.' You'll notice that the goal is not only summarized in one sentence, but it is also very specific. This is a very important aspect of successful goal setting.

You will now put the paper and marker to use. Write your goal out on each sheet of paper in bold letters. You may not realize it now, but this simple task of writing out your goal on paper brings your goal closer to completion. Writing things down makes them more concrete, increasing your belief and motivation towards your goals.

Once you have your four sheets containing your goal, you need to choose the four places you pass the most during an average day. These places could include your bathroom, your dresser, or the fridge. The important thing is to make sure you will pass this spot often.

The final step is to post your goals at each of the four high traffic areas. You have now created four goal reminders and motivators throughout your home or office.

Every time you wake up, walk through your house, or go to work, you will be reminded of what you are trying to achieve.
