Perhaps more time with the ones you love most? More
opportunities to visit the places around the world you've
always dreamed of seeing? These are the rewards we're
looking for. These are the benefits that will drive you.
I want you to make a list of at least three of your most
powerful rewards. Remember to dig deep and get to the heart
of the matter. When you're done, it's time to put the next
piece in place and bring your rewards to life.

Next I want you to give each of your rewards a face.
Your job is to search through magazines, newspapers, the
Internet, and any other resource offering pictures to find
visual symbols of your rewards.
Below are a few examples to help kick start your thinking:
Goal - Get in shape
Reward - More time with children
Symbol - Family photo
Goal - Stop smoking
Reward - Avoid lung cancer
Symbol - Picture of a cancerous lung
Goal - Start a business
Reward - Enough money to buy your first home
Symbol - Picture of your dream home
It doesn't matter where you find your pictures as long as
you can cut them out or print them. You can also collect
more than one picture for each reward, but don't go
overboard. One or two for each benefit will do the trick.
It's a really simple task, but one that packs a serious
motivational punch. However, before you can get the full
impact from this tip you need to follow one more step

your reminders and tuck them away in some old desk would be

You have to see them, and see them often.
What places in your home or work do you pass by at least

you use to work on your goals. The den, living room,
basement, etc. are areas that people may choose as their

powerful and compelling pictures and symbols to place in
the home or office.
