3 Steps to Help You Set Great Goals

Have you ever helped motivate someone else? Have you ever given advice to a friend? If you have, then you're all set to form your very own motivation group! A motivation group is a group of people who come together to help each other stay motivated and move forward. How many people you include is up to you. Four to five is a good number to start with.

How do you create your motivation group? When gathering your group together, keep these tips in mind.

SIMILAR INTERESTS
Make sure that the people you invite to your group have similar interests. Make sure you find others who are interested in the things you are interested in, and you'll have a much easier time helping each other.

REMEMBER THE PURPOSE
The purpose of this group is to help each other stay motivated, and become happier individuals. When the focus is helping each other, it becomes exciting and fun, not work. If you help others to achieve happiness, you'll receive the same treatment in return.

SET AN AGENDA
Whether you have a meeting once a month, or once a week, you should set an agenda for each meeting. When your members have written down their goals, and explained them to the group, you will probably include updates in your meetings.

You can also have an advice session. During this time, each member can give advice and ideas to other members in the group. With an agenda, it will be easier to stay on task, and to accomplish your tasks.

When you create a motivation group, you can reach your goals faster and enjoy doing it. Find a few friends who are interested, use the above tips, and have fun!
